On Tuesday, April 10, 2007, South Dakota Humanities Counsel and Native Student Services sponsored "Three Voices: Speaking from the Past" at the Freedom Forum in the Al Neuharth Media Center.

"Three Voices" is an historical perspective on the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre performed by Joyce Jefferson, Geraldine Goes In Center and Lilah Pengra.

The presentation follows the thoughts and feelings of three woman, a Lakota, African-American and Euro-American, as they deal with life in the plains of South Dakota and the events of the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre.
